SR Architects Ltd. was commissioned in 2022 to design the refurbishment of a pre-surgery assessment area to convert it into an inpatient bed ward comprising primarily single-bed with ensuite rooms and a couple of small multi-bed ward rooms. The ensuite shower rooms were designed as wet-room type showers to allow for all access.  The requisite clinical support spaces – dirty and clean utility rooms, ward kitchen and equipment stores were also programmed into the ward. Construction was completed over a 5-month period.
